'Angel Beads' teething necklaces are crafted from genuine baltic amber imported from Lithuania. This style features rich dark cherry nuggets of genuine baltic amber strung on a strong silk string with a knot between each bead. These teething necklaces have a twist screw-in clasp to safely secure the necklace.

Angel Beads teething necklaces are meant to be worn not chewed. Parent supervision is recommended.

Each teething necklace comes with an Angel Beads information/instruction leaflet, and a small organza gift bag. These make adorable gifts for baby showers and 1st birthdays.

History of Baltic Amber

Baltic Amber is an ancient European remedy that has been used to calm teething babies and children in Europe for centuries. Baltic amber contains 'succinic acid' which is released gently when warmed against the skin. It was believed to boost the immune system, reduce inflammation (i.e. eczema) and accelerate the healing of wounds and act as a gentle analgesic.
